Lying Liars: The Democrats’ Illegal Immigration/Amnesty Hypocrisy
Although California accounts for more than a third of the deportations under ICE’s Secure Communities program — which automatically checks the immigration status of arrestees — California lawmakers are considering a local opt out policy.
Secure Communities streamlines a process whereby the immigration status of every arrestee is automatically, electronically checked in both the FBI’s criminal database and the Department of Homeland Security’s records.
Fox News reports: “Immigrant advocates have lambasted ICE’s fingerprint sharing program for sweeping up crime victims and witnesses who are arrested during an investigation in addition to those accused of committing a crime. About 29 percent of the 102,000 immigrants deported under the program since it began in 2008 have no criminal conviction, according to federal government statistics.”
The proposed California legislation calls for local governments participating in the ICE program “to maintain data on arrests and the number of immigrants referred to federal authorities” and would restrict the program only “to immigrants convicted of crimes, not those who are merely arrested.” If communities like San Francisco, Santa Clara, and Berkeley — which have asked to opt out — want to opt out, they “would be free of the program entirely, should the law pass and then be sustainable.”
State legislators are at odds with the California State Sheriffs’ Association, “which says the electronic checks overseen by Immigration and Customs Enforcement are cost effective and eliminating them would place a burden on their agencies.”
So what’s the beef? Illegal immigrants that have not been convicted of a crime were deported?
Hypocrites! While it’s okay to deport illegal immigrants who have been convicted of a crime, it’s not okay to deport illegal immigrants who have not been convicted of a crime.
Just whistle past the “illegal immigrant” thing. Illegal used to mean not legal. Not anymore.
It’s not a crime to be an “illegal immigrant” in the U.S. according to immigration activists — and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.
Never mind that “about 26 percent of those deported under [the] program have been convicted of major drug offenses or violent crimes.”
Also never mind that between May 25, 2009, when the program started in California, and March 31, 2011, 1,785,488 fingerprints were sent to ICE. (There were 7,225,393 fingerprints between October 2008 and March 31 nationwide.)
In California, 78,407 were arrested or taken into ICE custody. (Nationally: 197,302.)
California had the highest number of deportations, 38,828; Texas is second. (Nationally: 101,741.)
While all those arrested were not convicted of a crime, all of those deported were “guilty of an immigration violation and were in the country illegally.”
Of the 78,407 arrested or taken into ICE custody in California, approximately one third, 27,899, were convicted of crimes and then deported. (Nationally: 72,445.)
Statistically speaking, the number of illegal immigrants in California identified by Secure Communities is quite small. Of the 1,785,488 arrestees whose fingerprints were sent to ICE, only 2.2 percent were actually deported and a mere 1.5 percent were convicted of crimes and deported.
How effective is the FBI-ICE coordinated Secure Communities program? Not that great. So why all the fuss?
Well, the Democrats have a Latino problem and the hypocrisy runs quite deep.
Writing at Pajamas Media on April 29, Ruben Navarette Jr. lists the top six reasons why Latinos may stay home for the 2012 elections, including the “Latino community’s disgust for Obama has turned into contempt for the man and his policies.”
Chief of among those reasons, as you may well imagine, is Obama’s failure to deliver on amnesty for illegal immigrants, a promise he honestly has no intention of fulfilling. And, as Navarette writes, Obama’s not the only one that does not want legalization for immigrants:
Oh, please. What commitment would that be? Obama never wanted immigration reform to begin with. He only uses the issue like a carrot dangled in front of a burro pulling a plow.
And do you know who else doesn’t want immigration reform? At least three elements of Obama’s liberal base: labor unions who live under the fantasy that illegal immigrants who tar roofs, pick peaches, build homes, clean horse stalls, and do other hard and dirty jobs are stealing gigs from Teamsters; African-Americans — who after generations of blaming whites for their misfortune, mistakes, and misdirection — have now taken to blaming Latinos for taking jobs; and classic liberals who only care that the Democratic Party keeps winning elections so it can fry the big fish (universal health care, redistribution of wealth, turning U.S. foreign policy into a war-free zone, and giving peace a chance, etc.) and who worry that immigration reform will cost Democrats the support of white voters.
That’s why the White House meeting was nothing more than pre-election year public relations. The only question is whether Latinos will fall for it, and let Obama off the hook.

They make this crap up as they go, the whole lot is completely insane for changing this country into something we will not recognize, and why there is NOT more public outcry over this insane administration is way beyond me, the yo-yo’s popularity should be some where in the twenties, I cannot believe that most people want this crazy half wit back!!Anyone in the republican party or an Independent would be better, they cannot understand how grave this situation is, If IT, is re-elected for another 4, the United States of America WILL CEASE TO EXIST, IT and soros will go completely unchecked!!
IF Americans want to slam the door shut on illegal immigration, your only choice is the National and local TEA PARTY. Cannot say it’s going to be easy, because the Hierarchy in Washington desires their future voters and for the upper crust Republicans exploitative discount labor. But we have some heavy hitters such as Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) who are politically ingrained with the TEA PARTY. There is so much corruption in Washington, that it’s almost impossible to detect the sincere lawmakers. However, you can always read their Immigration record grades at NumbersUSA. The Tea Party has materialized out of the rotting carcass of politicians who have been led astray by instant lobbyists, the repetitious open border delegations, the religious organizations, trade union instigators and now the celebrities of the radio, TV and movies.
As to the demonstrations that are to take place today. Since when do foreign nationals have a right, to clog up the streets with their irrational demands? It’s like citizen Americans and permanent residents have been placed on the back burner. This is insolent to the highest degree and so ICE agents should be out in force. Authorities could check people in the expected crowds for their identification, with no prejudice of skin color? Try this in Central or South America, in Northern Europe or other dictatorships around the world? See what the consequences are?

We demand justice for the more than 5,000 men, women and children who have died on the U.S. – México border.
We demand an end to the murders by Border Patrol, and justice for Carlos and Ramses.
We demand respect for all workers, and the unions that organize them.
We demand respect for all students, and the schools that educate them.
We demand justice for the death and division that xenophobic policies have brought to our homes, hospitals, schools and workplaces.
The majority of lawmakers have something to gain from mass amnesty of some type, which usually involves profit and substantial amounts of money. Just follow the cash trail and you will find greed, influence or a power grab. It doesn’t matter to most of them that around 15 million legal Americans are trekking around for a job? It could be even more as the powers in Washington don’t count, individual who have given up and living on Uncle Sam and taxpayers. The fact that somewhere around 8.5 million foreign nationals have replaced them in their job, no matter the lowest wage. We all know that businesses are being caught left and right, as countrywide workers, have become “Whistle-blowers” You see something not quite accurate in your line of work, such as the inability of men or women who cannot speak English at all, it might be worth a cursory investigation? REMEMBER, IT COULD BE YOUR JOB IN THE END?
Observe (CPA) Certified Public accountant, not playing by the rules of the IRS, with number of workers not counted. If anything that seems suspicious, where you have a job, and then just inform (ICE) Immigration and Customs service or your local police. This is happening on a wide scale, as more “whistle blowers” are reporting cheating businesses of every category, being now caught. Only the penalties now, need to be more severe? I received a personal reply from Senator Rand Paul, with his signature. The crux of the letter boils down to two sentences, which choreograph the promise of the TEA PARTY.
Paul states, Quote: “I also believe that subsidizing something creates more of it, and I do not think the American taxpayer should be forced to pay for welfare, medical care and other expenses for illegal immigrants. I will work to stop those taxpayer funded benefits.” End of Quote. To me this is certainly a caveat on both parties, who are using their political influence to derail the original 1986 Immigration Control and Reform Bill. The only danger to our sovereignty in coming elections is the voter fraud by illegal aliens, which cannot be dismissed as a clear and present peril?

” i hope that the state is aware of the abuse that is going on with legals/illegas working together to get refunds on thier taxes. how? by using the names and social of children who were born in the the U.S or in mexico. many legal residents are getting back a large amount of refund without having any children by using the info from illegals who had children here and may be living out of the country. many women who get food stamps/welfare/etc., are selling their stamps for cash. how? by going to the store with the party purchasing the stamps or just giving them their card. also, many are working with name/social of a permanent resident and at the end of the year will claim the taxes and the lender of the name/social will get 1/2 or all of the refund. this needs to be stopped! names, socials are not enough. we need to have to be fingerprinted when appling for a job. many illegas are continuing to work n hospitals, restaurants, etc., bars continue to be filled with illegas who are selling, using large amount of drugs. something needs to be done. God bless the United States of America!”
The Tea Party has huge political gains in sharp, responsible candidates and its uncounted membership, who has finally realized neither major party, is working for them. The infection of illegal immigration has spread throughout our country, bringing drug dealers, a wide continuum of criminals and unknown numbers of economic households, looking for a spending fling on taxpayers. Tea Party people from every religion, of all skin colors but all have one major demand is to repeal Sanctuary State policies, all Chain Migration; adding even more desperate families to the welfare lines; the Dream Act that inhibits room for our own children in colleges, and the preamble exhaustive push for Immigration Reform. And the most serious fault in our judicial system, the birthright citizenship for babies, brought across borders or air routes to our nation, to get a welfare toehold in our nation. All these objectives by illegal aliens and their advocacy entities, will insure a continuous stream of people try to enter America through borders or by aircraft.
This nation is on the verge of losing its reputation, as the most powerful country in the world to Communist China. This has been forced upon us by unfair trade practices and the manipulation of currency by the Chinese. This unfair advantage has deteriorated our manufacturing base, the shutdown of thousands of companies that were making quality products, compared to the foreign countries that have imported cheap goods into this nation. The only people making huge profits are international mega corporations, which have taken US jobs offshore or across borders. The TEA PARTY will end this fallacy and tax US companies bringing cheap inferior goods. We are the greatest population of consumer buyers in the world and we have the ability to place tariffs on goods entering America, instead of this unbalanced trade policies that we have with NAFTA, CAFTA and China. Donald Trump in one of his many speeches, this time in Nevada about China and its huge financial impact on the American economy, . “I’d drop a 25% tax” on imports from China.” There is no doubt in my mind that we must stop crappy imports from china; toys tainted with lead paint, bad food imports. The only winners in this trade war are importers and China.
