Fox News Channel’s Glenn Beck Show November 13 was a Special on Black America.
But First: It appears that the days you can watch Beck’s show clips at RBO or anywhere else online may be coming to an end. Clips for November 12 obtained via the source RBO has been using were pulled with the message posted that they were pulled due to a request by Fox News due to copyright infringement.
When RBO visited that same website for last night’s clips, only the first two of the six-part series were active and the following ones were marked as pulled by the user.
Checking YouTube early this morning for Glenn Beck clips RBO discovered that there were “test” postings, indicating that others who have been posting the show clips have run into the same problem. The following YouTube links may or may not continue to run. If you encounter a problem please let RBO know so we can find alternative links. Thanks.
Mark of the Beast: Geotag: Also, it appears that there are other disturbing problems on the horizon. Yesterday RBO discovered that WordPress is all excited about some new Geotagging scheme for its blogs, bloggers and visitors. (You can read about “geotagging” in the Wikipedia.)
- WordPress.com allows you to geotag your user profile and posts. That means you can assign an earthly location to your account and to each of your posts.
WordPress.com will soon launch a Geo Search feature that will allow people to find your posts based on their locations. To show up in the search results, you need to turn geotagging on and start geotagging your posts.
Rest assured that RBO will NOT be turning on the geotagging feature. It’s not that we do not want you to know where we are posting from but it is that many commenters intentionally post anonymously and sticking a geotag on you is, in our honest opinion, a violation of that intent.
Also, the directions for geotagging raise more issues. Did you know that your computer may have a GPS device in it? — which makes finding you easy. You’re now seated in front of your own personal computer “On Star” device. WordPress writes:
- The Auto Detect feature attempts to figure out where your computer is automatically. If your computer has a GPS device built in (many mobile phones do, for example), it will use that to determine your location. Some browsers also support the W3C Geolocation API and/or the Google Gears Geolocation API. If your browser supports one of those APIs, the API will be used to determine a best guess for your location. If all else fails, WordPress.com will try to guess your location from your computer’s IP address.
Additionally, WordPress writes: “Also, geotagged posts and profiles will be searchable in the soon-to-be-launched WordPress.com Geo Search.”
Not only will geotagged posts and profiles be searchable via WordPress but they will become searchable via Google, etc.
Aren’t you so glad now that those rent-a-census takers geotagged your domicile?

Excellent! I hope these people are ready for the backlash that is likely to come their way.
I hope Glen does another show on the topic.
Smile for the Google satellite cam kids.
Aw Mom, do we have to?
Yes, you don’t want to look grumpy in front of the world now do you?
Mark of the Beast is right!

The Beck show was fantastic.
Geotagging, what will they think of next? The technology seems to offer a mixed bag of tricks. Big Brother, and many of his siblings, may be watching…
