Finally … finally … we have someone besides Fox News Channel expressing concern about POTUS’s out-of-control appointments to a seemingly endless list of “czars”.
Rep. Jack Kingston (R-Geo.) has gone so far as to create a page on his official website entitled Better Know A Czar. Kingston’s staff has compiled a list of 34 czars and special envoys to date — to include confirmed salaries if known.
Kingston has written an amendment to the Financial Services Appropriations Bill restricting payment of funds to appointees like those serving in a “czar” capacity to only those confirmed by Congress.
Here’s Kingston, July 8, speaking from the House floor regarding “the overwhelming reliance on specially appointed czars by the Obama Administration. … With six-figure salaries and staff abounding, why should the American people be forced to pay millions of their tax dollars for these czars that have bypassed Congress?”
On July 8 Fox News’ Special Report with Bret Baier reported on “the Obama Administration’s growing use of czars and the lack of transparency in the work they do.” The previous night, July 7, Kingston offered an amendment “which would have withheld funds for these phantom appointments unless they are Senate confirmed.”
Also July 8 FOX News’ Mike Emanuel, while broadcasting live from the White House, discussed “the overwhelming number of czars appointed by the Obama Administration and an amendment offered by Jack [Kingston] to withhold funding from any specially-appointed czar not confirmed by the United States Senate as required by Article II, Section 2 of the United States Constitution.”
The following day, July 9, Kingston appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss “the Obama Administration’s increased reliance on specially appointed czars to bypass constitutionally-mandated congressional oversight in order to advance his own agenda.”
Kingston also appeared July 9 on Your World with Neil Cavuto “to discuss his ongoing efforts to increase transparency in the Obama Administration’s use of czars to implement policies and to bypass the U.S. Congress.”
Thank God for good men like Kingston who will continue to push the Obama administration into some kind of transparency. I don’t give a damn what his political affiliation is, there should be more than one standing up and screaming on Capitol Hill against this offensive and fraudulent administration!
How much more are those democrats willing to see before they start fighting for our country, our Constitution and our people? Obama can go completely around congress, in violation of our Constitution and it only offends this one man?
WTF? We need representatives who have read and understand the Constitution, and who are willing to fight for everything it stands for! This isn’t just some archaic paper from our past, this is the most important piece of work ever created by our fellow Americans. I still believe in our Constitution and all it stands for, I still believe in the rights it has given me, Obama may try to take them away, but I’ll be damned if I go along quietly!
I will stand with Mr. Kingston and I know those who read this blog will too!

There are many, many, of “We the People” who support your position. Stay the course, keep insisting, do not let this die, get it in front of the People. Put it in the form of a Bill to restrict payroll for White House Payroll without Congressional Oversite!
