This morning, we have a series of videos dealing with the intersection of William Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, and the Obamas. Sarah Palin’s accusation that Barack Obama “palled around with terrorists” has Team Obama attempting to play defense on the morning talk shows.

Erick Erickson [at RedState.com] says that Obama would have had to avoid local media altogether in 1996 to miss the mentions of his friend and neighbor. In 1996, the Democrats held their national convention in Chicago, and Ayers got a lot of attention beginning with the decision in 1994.
Pssssst!!! Should this not have gotten the Obamas’ attention? Particularly since it was only a few short months earlier that “neighbors” Ayers and Dohrn hosted that Illinois State Senate booster session in their Hyde Park living room in the candidate’s honor?

CNN should be shouted down! They KNOW the real story with this fraud Obama, and just like the fraud war of GWB, they are leading Americans down a path to a nightmare. Obama, with his “not the terrorist I knew” mentality and excuses for EVERYTHING that is the least bit unsovory, should disqualify himself from the run for POTUS.
THIS is the man who is not only out of touch if he has been unaware about ALL these things, but the biggest liar in Presidential History, including Nixon.
That CNN, the self-described “most trusted name in news” is shilling for this pig, leaves us all to wonder “what next.”
I honestly believe if it were discovered Obama was a plant by Osama bin Laden himself, the MSM would tell us all Obama didn’t know.

Personally, I find the MSM’s actions appalling, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why Americans allow for the lies and smear to be promoted by the MSM.
But, then again, much of America is brainwashed by Obama.

In March 1994 there was an extensive profile on Ayers and his Weathermen-connection in a professional education magazine (’Teacher Magazine’ / ‘Education Week’).
Mike Klonsky (!) even uses the word terrorism concerning Ayers actions: “Yes, I disagreed with him
over the use of terrorism, but the main victims of that terrorism were the Weathermen themselves.”

I have been checking the facts on this since the beginning of the year, and just don’t see any significant connection. The two men were brought together by an education project which was launched when a foundation founded by Walter Annenberg, a Republican, awarded a $50 million grant to Ayers and his associates. I gather Obama and Ayers were together at board meetings a total of seven times. And the party that Ayers hosted for his State Senator campaign appears to be the kind of casual one-off event that happens across the country thousands of times a year for local politicians of all stripes.
And here’s what a Republican from Illinois who knows both men had to say about Ayers:
“It was never a concern by any of us in the Chicago school reform movement that he had led a fugitive life years earlier,” said former Illinois state Republican Rep. Diana Nelson, who worked with both Obama and Ayers over the years. “It’s ridiculous. There is no reason at all to smear Barack Obama with this association.”
I agree that Ayer’s history is disturbing. But I don’t see how he could have had any influence over Obama in the way this blog is suggesting. I think this is a red herring.
