Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.)’s campaign “contends it returned $33,500 in illegal contributions” from three Palestinian brothers residing in Hamas-controlled Gaza. Today, the donors told Aaron Klein, WND’s Jerusalem bureau chief, that they have not received any money.
Earlier today, the Wall Street Journal reported that, according to the Obama campaign, the funds had been returned.
The Obama camp insisted the remaining $2,500 was refunded Monday and all of the refunds will be reflected soon in an amended report. The campaign said new controls are in place to prevent any similar attempts in the future.
But WND asked two of the brothers – Monir and Hasam Edwan – to respond to the campaign’s claims.
“No, we did not receive any money back from the Obama campaign at any time,” said Monir Edwan.

The ease, frequency, and nonchalant manner of the lies has gone beyond the alotment even for a politician. A good politician is not this dumb. Big issue or small, there is nothing but trail of backpeddling, broken promises, lack of follow through. Obama’s character could not fill up a thimble. Something is seriously wrong with him.
